Make a small bag to carry a water bottle, Palm device, sunglasses or wallet. This is a quick and satisfying project, whether you are a new knitter or you are looking to make a gift in a day.

Carrying straps can be made of I-cord (knitted tube) or twisted cord, both of which will be covered in class.

For accent color, bring small amounts (10 yards or so) of three or four multicolored or textured yarns, especially thinner yarns such as brushed mohair, boucle, eyelash or sockyarn. Or bring a larger amount, and swap with friends in the class!!!

The base yarn specified is Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride worsted, a versatile and affordable yarn, although other heavy worsted yarns can also be substituted.
