LynnH Guitar Herrinbgone Hat
I knit several prototypes of this hat, and my musician husband kept commenting on how much the pattern looked like guitar trim. (The trim is called herringbone.) I happily gave in to his suggestion.
Despite the color impact which looks complex, this hat knits up quickly in DK yarn (or doubled fingering/sockyarn) with well-planned colorwork. There are merely 6 rows that use two colors on the same row! If you have a guitar aficionado in your life, knit one with an ebony/ivory band on woodtone/brown!
