Pair #126 - April 6, 2006 This is my Turkish-Style Toe-Up sock pattern knit exactly as the pattern is written, for the smallest size. I intended them to be for my own personal enjoyment but I have used them as samples so many times now, I am afraid to go ahead and wear them. This is one of the perils of being a full-time artist/knitting designer/teacher. (I would not trade it for anything!) Yarn - This is a DK-weight yarn I was experimenting with dyeing. It's nice enough, but my Cushy ColorSport is also a washable merino DK-weight yarn and it is so nice this one is no competition. I won't be dyeing this stuff again, though I will enjoy touching these socks. |
