Pair #127 - April 21, 2006 I made these First-Time Toe-Up socks for my brother, Eric, who is very hard to fit. I knit both feet first, and got nervous they would not fit. I finished the cuff for only one. Then I mailed him that one. He said they fit great, so I finished the second. Clearly I remembered the cuff differently in my mind than I'd actually knit it... can you see that the cuffs do not match? He will not give them back for me to fix. He likes them just fine, and the feet are the same, so they feel good to him. Whatever makes my brother happy is OK with me. Yarn - Bingo washable merino, bulky weight. This stuff washes and dries in the machines like a dream, not a pill! |
