Pair #134 - October 2, 2006 Socks that Rock heavyweight (worsted). I call these the sunny sock cuff. I am currently offering the instructions for this sock cuff (intended to be used with the toe-up sock pattern of your choice for the foot portion) as a Free Download in PDF format. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed properly on your computer in order to see/print the cuff instructions. If you can not make it print on your computer, maybe you can go to Kinko's where they will be able to make it work. I am not able to provide technical assistance on this free offering. I used my First-Time Toe-Up socks pattern for the feet on these, and a single-crocheted edge instead of a knit bind-off. It's very stretchy and looks very good in this colored yarn. Yarn - Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock heavyweight washable merino. I got mine at Rae's Yarn Boutique in Lansing, Michigan. |
